Welcome to Da Carmelos
Situated in its own extensive landscaped gardens -- complete with water feature -- off Lancaster New Road in the rural village of Cabus, Da Carmelo is a large Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria housed within a Grade II listed building that dates back to 1570 (formerly the Hamilton Arms).
Chef patron Carmelo Mura hails from the Sardinian town of Alghero, famous for its sun-kissed Mediterranean climate and fresh seafood. Carmelo and his kitchen team are not only creating great pizzas but traditional dishes from authentic recipes from Sardinia.
The restaurant has retained the original features including log fires and large bar area, yet has a contemporary feel, with smart furnishings and an open kitchen. There is a large al fresco terrace and the dining room has French windows that open onto the manicured gardens.
The menu features freshly prepared starters including meat and cheese antipasti, Italian Bruschette and fresh seafood, a selection of pizza and pasta dishes such as lobster filled ravioli and mains include chicken, fish, veal, duck and lamb dishes with no less than six different steak options.
Private function room with a capacity of up to 70 people also available, please call for more informtation.
